I recently promised someone that I’m not the YouTube-video-posting kind of person, and this is honestly the first time I’m doing it. So yes, this is worth it.
Disclaimer: This is not for the faint of heart. Some of us Cronenberg fans found this difficult to, er, stomach.
via my brother (who else?)

Hmmm i dont think this is all that gory. there are worse movies and videos than this. I’m sorry but im a guy who is used to playing 100 kill Quake 3 games within 20 minutes or so and a 1000 kill game in an hour. watch some of the new games they have some amazing effects of blood splatter etc etc.
I am laughing my guts out right now!
@ Aditya
Special effects, gah. You can have all the technology in the world and still be ordinary. This video was clearly not made in Hollywood (which is arguably where the best special effects are done); it also looks like it was made in the 70s/80s.
You have missed the brilliance, the inventiveness of a man cutting open his stomach, pulling out his intestines anf trying to strangle his opponent with them. Oh, and the irony! He doesn’t die because his guts are hanging out but because the other guy hits his face!
@ Ambar
I am glad someone gets this. : D
This was awesome! Your brother has fine taste, he does.
erm hmmm let me clear up some
“Disclaimer: This is not for the faint of heart. Some of us Cronenberg fans found this difficult to, er, stomach.”
i was referring to this. I’m aware of the grade of special effects that are available in today’s day and age and how well or badly they get done too. i can show you bloopers in places you wouldn’t expect! i found it funny, but, chose to speak about the disclaimer!
Aditya, the disclaimer doesn’t say anything about technology either. Are you suggesting everyone can watch this without feeling a little sick? Because at least three people I showed this to were visibly disturbed. Seeing a man pull his intestines out is kinda to very gross irrespective of how funny it is and irrespective of how good the special effects are.
This reminds me of people who watch Argento’s Suspiria and comment on how much the blood looks like paint. Um, so what?
I think we are arguing two different planes here. i agree with your point of the inventive thought process and the intestines bit but i’m not talking about that. so lets just leave it for another day.
I do think you’re on a different plane. You don’t think it’s that gory based on the fact that you’re used to better special effects. I think it’s a 7 or 8 on the gory scale, and I completely stand by my disclaimer. People who can’t stand gore will find this difficult to watch.
